We are an architectural design firm that believes in and passionately promotes sustainability. MMLP’s team of experienced and skilled individuals work to improve energy efficiency and proactive environmental design in each of our projects, whether they are going for 3rd party certification or not. We are proud to have been designers of Springfield’s first certified green building (LEED Silver). And building green is not limited to new structures. We have extensive experience in helping clients find ways to “green” their existing buildings, including helping to identify funding sources to make energy conservation measures even more cost-effective.
We enhance architectural designs to include cost-effective green building techniques and strategies. MMLP encourages and helps clients develop the return on investment, effect on work flows, scheduling and other considerations for decision making and implementation. We help clients take steps toward going green through green building systems. MMLP will work with you from site selection through certification. We can survey and assess a site for its original natural conditions features which will eventually help in designing the project to achieve a harmonious environmental situation. That knowledge will percolate through the design process producing pleasing and environmentally friendly work or living environments.
MMLP is especially good at finding ways to help decrease energy consumption in existing buildings. We work closely with the entire project team to guide implementation of green building strategies and facilitate documentation of green measures when certification is desired.
